In my previous post, I talked about shooting and editing my first wedding video for my friend’s brother’s wedding. Well, with their permission, I posted some of the highlights from their wedding in the video above. It’s 11 minutes of highlights from the 36 minute video I produced for them.

Aldo Raine, “Business is a-boomin’.” Well not really in my case, but I think I could start managing to produce one wedding video every month and still have time to devote to my movies. Plus, the extra money I get from doing wedding videos will go towards producing my summer/fall dream: a badass feature length Western movie set in D.C. One could call this dream movie of mine a rugged Eastern, but Western is a more recognized genre.

Let’s just say that I charge less and most of those “extras” that other wedding production companies charge for are pretty much standard in my fee. Plus, I usually finish the wedding video within 4-6 weeks.
As you can see, I try to capture the spirit of the wedding and the personality of the bride and groom. However, I do try to make things playful for the most part, yet classy when it comes to those sacred wedding moments. I try to get all the appropriate guests involved in the video through interviews that elicit humorous and poignant responses.
