Island Dog Robber with original music from Raycurt Johnson

by Jimmy on May 6, 2010

So I decided to shorten Island  Dog Robber by another 2 minutes and 30 seconds.  And guess what?  The movie improved again without the extra weight of 2 minutes and 30 seconds holding it down.  Now it comes in at a slim 17 minutes and 24 seconds.

Check it out again and tell me if you also like the new non-copyrighted music that I used in place of the previous songs I had in the movie (Phoenix’s “Love Like a Sunset Pt. 1,” Peter Gabriel’s “Solsbury Hill,” and Earth, Wind, and Fire’s “That’s the Way of the World”).  The original music I used for this last and final cut was provided by Raycurt Johnson, the singer/violinist virtuoso.  The Raycurt Johnson that will be starring as George Bridgetower in my next movie.  Thanks again to you Raycurt for helping me out in a jam.  I submitted both Olfactory Thriller and Island Dog Robber to two local film festivals today: D.C. Shorts Film Festival and D.C. Asian Pacific American Film Festival.  Additionally, I entered Olfactory Thriller into the D.C. International Horror Film Festival.  I hope I get one of them selected.  Wish me luck!!!
